Collective self-supporting side protection for permanent use

This side protection roof guardrail is used for long-term work or as permanent protection for flat roofs. It impresses with its fast assembly, low weight and maximum stability. The freely adjustable high span of up to 2.6 m between two railing posts reduces the assembly time and provides space to work. The post is height adjustable and available as an inclinable or a screw-on version for confined spaces.
The entire system can be installed with just one tool using a cordless wrench. Uneven surfaces can be levelled out.

The next generation of safety on the roof

All components are made of high-strength aluminium extruded profiles. This guarantees that all components are stable and suitable for heavy-duty use on a construction site. The system is manufactured in the usual BAVARIA quality at our factory in Lindenberg/Allgäu. All components are designed so that they are easy to repair.
The DEKRA-Exam-tested system enables roof inspections and safe access to air conditioning and ventilation systems as well as photovoltaics. It can remain on the roof for permanent use. Industrial halls, sports facilities, hotels, supermarkets or hospitals can be secured at any height and unlimited length .
Due to its favourable price, the NEO system is often also used during the construction phase as a fall protection guard for flat roofs, for example as a skylight dome guard.

MAUDERER developed the self-supporting guardrail system for collective side protection in accordance with EN 13374:2013 together with tradespeople: the temporary guardrail with load weighting is particularly suitable for long distances and large-scale projects.

BAVARIA NEO 40 N fall protection guard for flat roofs - INCLINABLE SYSTEM

Building owners and architects often find protective systems on the roof visually disruptive. The NEO 40 N variant, which is inclined towards the roof, is almost invisible from the ground while maintaining the same level of security. The NEO 40 N post can be used vertically or at an angle (67.5°) if the building view is not to be impaired. Depending on the roof situation and parapet, we will be happy to put together a customised set with inclinable posts.

NEO 30 K - The compact version for lack of space and for solar roofs

On roofs with solar and photovoltaic systems , as much roof area as possible should be utilised. There is often no space available for cantilevers. We offer particularly compact posts for this purpose, which can be mounted on the parapet in a compact manner with the same overall stability thanks to a height-adjustable support.

The system with the shortened cantilever is particularly popular with solar installers. As the cantilever for the weights is shortened to a minimum, the available area for the solar panels is optimally utilised.

Securing skylight domes with BAVARIA NEO fall protection guard for flat roofs

Continuous rooflights and skylight domes are an often underestimated fall hazard for people. In many cases, building roofs are equipped with air conditioning, ventilation or photovoltaic systems and must therefore be accessible for maintenance and repair purposes. Building owners must prioritise permanent and collective side protection for all elements. This can be done with the help of a continuous NEO guardrail. If safe access to the danger zone is required, this is done in combination with the safety door. The system can be easily adapted to any contours and sizes. It is quick to install and does not require drilling into the roof cladding.

Exit from the flat roof onto a fixed vertical ladder

If fixed access, maintenance and rescue ladders are used on buildings, access to the ladder must be secured by a self-closing door.

The safety door allows safe access to and from the roof area from a fixed vertical ladder. Assembly is simple and does not require drilling into the roof cladding. The safety door is simply integrated into the load-bearing BAVARIA flat roof NEO guardrail.

The self-closing safety gate for the NEO flat roof guardrail allows access to an area limited by the side protection. Thanks to the post design, it can be easily integrated into the NEO guardrail system.
On the stop side, the adapter piece is simply inserted into the hand- or kneerail of the guardrail.
Retrofitting an existing BAVARIA flat roof NEO guardrail is also possible without any problems.

Assembly variant for roofs without a parapet

For roofs without a parapet, this can be "replaced" by weights if you place them on non-slip rubber mats. You will need 2 additional weights per 1.30 m system length and 4 additional weights at the free ends. The minimum distance between the ballast weight and the fall edge is 250 mm. The assembly variant is possible for all available NEO variants (NEO 30, NEO 30 F, NEO 40 N).
The protective rubber must lie under the ballast weights and extend beyond the edge of the roof to prevent the weights from slipping away.
