The PV ladder provides safe access for cleaning, maintenance and repair work on sensitive photovoltaic or solar thermal kits
Solar modules have a sensitive surface and must therefore not be walked on. Nevertheless, access to solar installations is necessary for cleaning, maintenance or repair.
The ladder is also helpful when installing PV kits on sloping roofs . It is specifically designed to provide safe movement up and down a roof. It allows two fitters to work side by side - one on the solar panels, the second one on the free roof surface.
The BAVARIA maintenance ladder guarantees quick assembly and dismantling and is easy to move and relocate. Several ladders can be linked for extension. Soft rubber wheels and EPDM protective pads avoid damaging the sensitive collectors.
Innovative solution for the protection of sensitive solar module surfaces
The maintenance ladder consists of a lightweight roof ladder on which a ladder head with wheels is mounted. The ladder is pushed over the kit on the rubberised rollers without damaging the surface. The head locks onto the frame of the kit automatically.
After use, the ladder head is unlocked and lifts up by itself. It can then be rolled back down over the panelswithout scratching the kit.

EPDM protective pads and raised rung position for maximum safety
The ladder itself is covered along its entire length with an EPDM protective pads to prevent damage to the surface. Thanks to the raised rung position, there is no risk of stepping on the kit when walking on it.
Optional work platform for comfortable and ergonomic working
A work platform with tool tray is available as an option, allowing you to work comfortably and ergonomically on the ladder.
