MAUDERER - Guarding your world

MAUDERER Alutechnik is a solid medium-sized family business in its second generation. Werner Mauderer set out in 1976 to build the "best ladder in the world". It had to be more stable and durable than any other product available on the market. Following this claim, the eldest son Frank Mauderer continues to consistently focus the company on premium solutions "made in Germany":

"Our products were already sustainable when the term became frequent. Not out of environmental idealism, but due to Allgäu thriftiness and pragmatism.

The roots lie in the mentality of my father, who, as one of five siblings without a mother, grew up in the post-war period. He learned to repair things with the simplest means and to use  them for a long time. One Christmas Eve, he disassembled his first toy car to have a peek inside – and tearfully had to put it back together. What toy would we repair  today?

As a young entrepreneur, he held on to this mind set. His products were to be "smart and clever" and, if damaged, should prompt the judgment: "Let’s fix it!"

Nearly 50 years later, we strive to apply this vision of the "ladder for a lifetime" to all our products.  MAUDERER and BAVARIA stand for long lasting, repairable products. Consequently, our customers save money.

We never have compromised on safety and we proudly  comply with current legislation. Sustainability arises from our way of thinking products simply and from our will to continue improving. Professionals appreciate that."

The ladder for a lifetime
BAVARIA access technology

Whether telescopic ladders, folding ladders or fixed vertical ladders - MAUDERER stands for premium access technology and offers a 20-year guarantee on its bolted ladders. Attention is paid to robust construction site suitability down to the smallest detail.

For example, BAVARIA ladders can be equipped with a compact folding stabiliser bar to meet the requirements of the current EN 131 standard.

Construction machinery manufacturers such as Liebherr, Tadano and Terex also appreciate the high-quality design and equip their mobile cranes with access technology from MAUDERER.

Solutions for roofers
BAVARIA fall protection guards

Werner Mauderer revolutionised fall protection guards 40 years ago. As an alternative to expensive façade scaffolding, which involves time-consuming assembly, he developed classics such as the ladder fallprotection guard and the easyraise guard. All BAVARIA fall protection guards have a simple, modular assembly and can be installed using standard tools.

Collective side protection guards for flat roofs, gable or eaves protection are tailored to roofers and solar installers who need to secure their workplace quickly and flexibly in accordance with cutting edge technology (Protection Classes in accordance with EN 13374).

Installed with ease
MAUDERER container staircase systems

It is impossible to erect a steel container staircase without a crane. This is why MAUDERER developed super-light aluminium container stairs for the most common office and storage containers (Containex, Strabag, Algeco, Touax, DeBoers, SANI and many more) 20 years ago.

The rustproof modular aluminium staircase is assembled, loaded and unloaded by two men without any special tools, making it perfect for rental parks. The design is in accordance with ISO 14122.

Light solutions for heavy loads
MAUDERER loading ramps and rails

When loading expensive construction machinery such as excavators, caterpillars, tractors or lawnmowers, construction companies, landscaping contractors or construction companies do not want to take any risks for man or machine.

The lightweight aluminium loading ramps can be used without any aids. In addition to an extensive range of loading rails, drive-on wedges and loading ramps, customised special designs are also possible. Construction site equipment suppliers and rental companies (HKL, Niemeier, Zeppelin and many more) have been relying on customised solutions in rental company quality from MAUDERER for many years.

Built to fit
MAUDERER customer solutions

As a complete solution from engineering to just-in-time delivery to our customers' assembly lines, we also offer customising of our products. For example, we supply adapted folding ladders, access ladders and 3-way combination ladders as well as compact ladders with folding stabiliser bars for the largest mobile crane OEMs Liebherr, Tadano and Terex. In addition to special ladders, we also build customised drive-on ramps, drive-over ramps and loading sheet metal for commercial vehicles and trailer manufacturers.
